Cord Plasma Alpha-Fetoprotein Values and Neonatal Jaundice.

Alpha-fetoprotein(aFP) levels were studied in 20 neonatally hyperbilirubinemic children and 20 controls matched for gestational age. We experienced a case of Pierre Robin syndrome in newborn consisted of micrognathia, cleft palate and glossoptosis. It may accompany with cardiac malformations and ocular anormalies, which were not found in this baby. Brief review of literature was made.
